My Gluten Free Chinese Style Salt and Pepper Chips

Hey guys! I’m back with a new recipe after some time away from my blog, and this time it’s something that was very popular when I posted about it on Instagram. Salt and pepper chips! Yes, the Chinese takeaway favourite. I used to absolutely love Salt and Pepper chips from the takeaway, however most of the time takeaway chinese food and chippy food is contaminated as chips share the same pans as spring rolls. Boooo!
I’ve been trying for a long time to finally crack the recipe for the most delicious and easy to make salt and pepper chips (with a little help from two of my work colleagues), so you don’t have to fret about cross-contamination.
Oven Chips are a staple in any household, and everyone has different brands which are their favourites.

The ones I have used in my recipe are the Aunt Bessies Homestyle Chips, which have the gluten free crossed grain logo clearly labelled on the packaging. They are super crispy on the outside and dead fluffy inside, so are ideal for this recipe.

You could use any other oven chips if you wish for this Fake-away recipe.
So here is my recipe for these bad boys below, check it out!
