If you have ANY gift to give to a gluten free foodie, or even just somebody who loves to bake, I think I’ve found the perfect place to get it from.
Jessica Bakes-Well does a fantastic range of artisan cookie mix jars, traybake mixes, party and wedding favours. Each one is beautifully hand made, from layering the ingredients, to the gorgeous labels on each jar. You can find her shop HERE on Esty, where you can easily access the gluten free category, and is home to SEVEN great gluten-free products including rainbow cookies and chocolate brownies. Also available are tubes, which make approximately 18 cookies, and you can pick whatever flavour cookie mix you wish with these. And to add to this, vegan options are also becoming available, so they’re honestly great for everybody!
As if that’s not exciting enough, the lemon meringue flavour cookie tube, AND the gluten free chocolate brownie have both won great taste awards. What’s not to love?
The two which my other half, James treated me to were the lemon meringue and the eton mess.
On the tubes you will see there are easy to follow instructions. All you need for these are one egg, and 100g of butter, but be sure to mix these together well! They’re literally so simple to make!
The first lot I used was the lemon meringue, and they were SO delicious!
The second ones I made were the Eton Mess cookies, they also turned out fantastic, they spread really well. What I LOVED about them, were the crunchy meringue pieces inside the cookies and the white chocolate. They both went down an absolute treat!
So if you have wedding favours to get, party gifts, or if you even want to treat your favourite baker to something quick and easy, these are a fun, yummy treat!
