So May has been a fantastic month for Coeliacs like me. With Coeliac awareness week happening, a lot of great things have been happening on the gluten freevolution front, and it’s connected a lot of fellow coeliacs together on social media.
Lots of other things were great about this month, so let’s take a look at what I liked the most about May! Hasn’t the year flown by?
Kat Von D makeup coming to Debenhams.
So a lot of US beauty bloggers, and people who have shopped the range over in the US have made me envious for such a long time about this range. The Kat Von D Urban Decay makeup range is cruelty free, and everything about it screams creativity. I’ve wanted the ‘trooper’ tattoo liner for so long, and it doesn’t disappoint, with lines so sharp that it cut a gluten free cake, and it’s waterproof and smudge proof. For the price, which was around £16 it’s not bad! I also got the Alchemist holographic palette, which is literally like it’s been made by unicorns. It goes well as just a face highlighter, and looks FABULOUS over the top of black lipstick or eyeshadow! Its so worth the hype and money.
Kasabian’s new album ‘For Crying out Loud’
Kasabian released their sixth album, and it’s an absolute banger. They have always been one of my favourite bands to listen to, and this album is completely different to it’s predecessor 48:13. All of the songs are motivational, give you that swagger when you walk down the street listening to it, and they make me wanna hang out with my mates and have a few gluten free beers! The deluxe edition features their live King Power Stadium show in Leicester in it’s full glory on disc 2, and it’s beautiful! The music videos to the released songs are so on point too. Give it a listen if you haven’t already.

Well after everything that this city has been through, it’s humbling to see how strong people are over there and the respect, love and support that is coming out of it. I’m so proud to work here and have so many fantastic friends that make me feel safe there. My thoughts and prayers are with everybody who’s been affected by the awful tragedy. You never really realise the full extent of terrorism and bombs when you see it on the news, until it happens to your country or somewhere really close to home.
This TV series is on Netflix, and stars Kiefer Sutherland who plays a ‘designated survivor’ after an incident that happens in Washington. I don’t want to post too many spoilers, but it’s a really fast paced drama. it doesn’t stop for 5 minutes without something else happening. I’m almost at the end of Bates Motel and it’s good to have something to watch when I’m done with it.
